We don't charge by the hour, we charge by the job. Our quotes are based the average time it takes a qualified technician/licensed plumber to do the job and includes the parts needed. The technicians use a standard price guide based on what tasks will be needed to do perform the job so they are able to quote the price before the work begins.
Before any work is done, a price is agreed upon and that price is what the customer will pay regardless of how long it takes to do the work, even if it takes longer than anticipated.
We specialize service & repair for residential & light commercial, so we know how long it will take, what parts will be needed for almost any kind of job you need done. We have preset prices in our price guide for each task and the technician figures which tasks need to be done and charges you according to the book prices. Everyone is charged the same for the same tasks.
Yes, we specialize in residential work and cover all aspects of your homes comfort systems. We do remodels, troubleshooting, new installations, additions, anything to do with residential plumbing, heating and air conditioning. We do not do new construction – only service, repair & equipment replacement in existing buildings.

Trip charges cover the cost of the licensed plumber or technician to arrive in a fully stocked truck prepared for almost any situation and do to do a short diagnosis of the problem. Sometimes more than a short diagnosis is required depending on the problem and extended diagnosis charges might be applicable but this is rarely the case. We deliver what is needed from our centrally located warehouse to your home if what is needed is not on the truck. In some cases special order parts may be needed to complete the job in which case there will be no additional trip charge to return and finish the job. Many companies charge by the hour and they start the clock when they get in the truck to come to your location so if it takes them 20 minutes to drive there you are paying for that as well as the time it takes to diagnose the problem. Add those 2 together and you have a trip charge even though they do not call it a trip charge.
Quotes on new installations of Heating & AC equipment, Sewer, Geothermal heating/ AC and Solar Thermal hot water systems are free..
Phone quotes from anyone are usually inaccurate. Every building has a different set of circumstances – How old is it? What is the water quality? What is the access to the work – open or tight space? Was the original equipment professionally installed? Does it meet local & state code? Too many questions and even if answered will not get you the exact price without seeing the situation at hand. We liken phone quotes to trying to guess someone’s age over the phone.

The owner of the property must authorize any repairs or upgrades unless your lease agreement specifically states that you are allowed to authorize work of this type.
Yes. We are licensed, bonded and insured to protect the home & business owner as required by the state of Illinois. We send only Licensed Plumbers and certified HVAC technicians as required by the state.
Each Plumber is individually licensed and we carry an additional contractor’s license which is required by the state.
For your peace of mind we drug test and background check all employees. We do not hire subcontractors to work in your home.
